Nervous System Informed Psychotherapy

A calm, grounded space to slow down, listen inward, and find your way toward meaningful change.

~ Is this for you? ~

You’re a capable adult who (mostly) looks like you have it all together on the outside …

But inside, things feel more complicated.

You’re the reliable one.

The person others lean on.

The one who holds everything together.

From the outside, your life looks “fine.”

Put together. Functional. Even successful.

But inside, something feels heavier than it used to.

Often, people come to me not because things are falling apart, but because holding it all together has become exhausting.

Maybe you recognize yourself here:

  • you manage a lot — work, relationships, family, maybe aging parents, a body in transition — and so much of that labour is invisible to others

  • you’ve done years of self-reflection, personal growth, yoga, reading, listening… and still feel a low-grade depletion or the quiet grief of “something isn’t wrong… but something isn’t right”

  • you don’t feel “broken,” but you also don’t feel like yourself anymore

  • you’re tired of being the strong one

  • you want life to feel easier in your body, not just make sense in your head

You’re not looking to be fixed.

You’re thoughtful, self-aware, emotionally intelligent and ready for something more effective than coping harder.

Maybe you’re longing to:

  • stop performing competence

  • be met as a whole person

  • untangle patterns gently, without judgment

  • feel more inhabited in your own life

  • rest without falling apart

  • let your (whole) self be held for once

If any of this landed, you don’t need to be in crisis to be here.

Sometimes the turning point is simply realizing:

You’ve held it together beautifully — for a long time.

And you don’t want to carry it all alone anymore.

~ Where we begin ~

Working together is about creating space…

Space to slow down. Space to feel. Space to hear yourself again.

This is a place where you don’t have to arrive with a clear story or the right words.

Where you don’t have to perform competence or have the right answers.

Where we create enough safety that your system can finally soften.

We listen for what your nervous system has been carrying and how it speaks through your body and your life — as tension, exhaustion, familiar patterns, big emotions, or that quiet sense that something is off.

In practice, this often looks like:

  • gently exploring the “story underneath the story” — the patterns and protective strategies that once helped, but may now be costing you more than they give

  • working somatically, noticing how your body speaks before words arrive, and learning how to build safety and regulation from the inside out

  • using the approaches that best support you rather than forcing your experience into a preset model

  • shaping the process together based on what feels most useful and sustainable for you

  • moving at a pace that respects your nervous system, while still supporting meaningful change

My role is to be a steady, non-judgmental presence and to gently reflect what may no longer be serving you, with care and respect.

We’ll work tog to help you feel more at home in yourself.

More spacious. More aligned. More able to meet your life without bracing so hard.

Where your strength doesn’t come from endless pushing —

it comes from real capacity.

~ Why work with me ~

This is where you get to soften…

A space to untangle what you’ve been carrying and create more ease, clarity, and room to breathe.

Many of the people who find me are already thoughtful, competent, and deeply self-aware.

What they’re missing isn’t insight —

it’s the kind of support that helps the mind finally catch up to what the body already knows.

I bring over two decades of experience working with the nervous system — where stress, adaptation, resilience, and change actually live.

A few things that shape how we’ll work together:

  • a deep background in somatic work — bridging lived, body-based experience with psychological insight, so change isn’t just something you understand, but something you feel

  • an integrated view of mind and body as inseparable - we won’t separate what you think from what your body is carrying, they’re part of the same story, your story

  • a practical, grounded, non-judgmental space to hold complexity without rushing to simplify or turn it into a(nother) to-do list

  • a belief that meaningful change often happens by gently working with a few key places where things are stuck, overloaded, or over-protected

My role isn’t to have all the answers. It’s to offer steadiness, perspective, and nervous-system-informed guidance as you unwind what you’ve been carrying.
